Who is ABC3D for 
Everyone! But this software was designed primarily with K-12 students in mind. We wanted to design something that was less intimidating than Blender but still give the ability to let the user express themselves artistically.
What is ABC3D used for
ABC3D is primarily focused on artistic expression. 3D modeling can be an incredibly satisfying art medium that has uses in other types of art! A model made in ABC3D can be used in games, animations, and more! We support common 3D model file formats, so you can take your models anywhere.
Why should I use ABC3D
Simplicity. ABC3D was designed with the goal of making 3D modeling less confusing. We can never have as many features as Blender (an open source software with 30+ years of development), and that's okay! What we can do is make the learning experience easier for new users.
What are the technical details
ABC3D uses the Qt framework for UI, and a custom OpenGL renderer for the viewport. It is written entirely in C++. ABC3D is targeted for Windows only.
